For a chance to win a $25,000 film grant, submit a 30-60 second film that shows us how you celebrate what you care about most. It could be a small everyday moment, a special occasion or an issue that you're passionate about. Tell us what your cause for celebration is.

  • Anke Hofmann VICE PRESIDENT OF HFPA & JOURNALIST Anke has heen covering the entertainment industry as a journalist for 25 years and is currently Vice President of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, which celebrates its 75th Golden Globe Awards. Born in Wiesbaden, Germany, Anke initially envisioned a medical career, working as a doctor in developing countries. After moving to Los Angeles at age 23, her life plans changed to journalism. Since, she enjoys discovering the humanity of celebrities and supports the philanthropic efforts of the HFPA.
  • Billie Lourd ACTRESS Billie Lourd’s work in film and television displays a wealth of talent well beyond her years. Lourd most recently starred as ‘Winter Anderson’ in the seventh season of Ryan Murphy’s “American Horror Story: Cult.”
    Additionally, she recently reprised her role in the second season of Ryan Murphy’s FOX series, “Scream Queens.” She starred as ‘Chanel #3’ in the comedy-horror series that centered on a series of murders at a sorority house and, subsequently, a hospital. Also starring Emma Roberts, Jamie Lee Curtis and Lea Michele, the second season premiered in September 2016.
    Lourd made her feature film debut in J.J. Abrams’ Star Wars: The Force Awakens in December 2015 and will reprise her role as ‘Lieutenant Connix’ in the upcoming Star Wars: The Last Jedi. Additionally, Lourd will play ‘Rosanna’ in the upcoming James Cox film Billionaire Boys Club. Also starring Taron Egerton, Emma Roberts, Kevin Spacey and Ansel Elgort, the film is based on a true story and features a group of wealthy boys in Los Angeles during the early 1980s who establish a 'get-rich-quick' scam that turns deadly.
    Lourd is also currently working on her own bluesy, R&B-inflected music.
    Lourd is a graduate of New York University and currently resides in Los Angeles.
  • Kisha Imani Cameron CHIEF TALENT DEVELOPMENT OFFICER OF GHETTO FILM SCHOOL Kisha Imani Cameron is the CTDO of Ghetto Film School (GFS), an award-winning non-profit that educates, develops and celebrates the next generation of great American storytellers. GFS builds a pipeline of diverse, creative talent through a pre-professional educational program and an early career support network. Kisha has an extensive background in the film and media industry having worked with Focus Features, Tribeca Film Institute, New Line Cinema and Walden Media.
  • Laura Dern ACTRESS Two-time Academy Award nominee and Golden Globe and Primetime Emmy Award winner, Laura Dern has proven to be one of the great actresses of her generation, touching audiences and critics alike with her moving and heartfelt performances. For her Oscar nominated performance in “Rambling Rose”, Critic Peter Travers explained that Dern "ranks among the best actresses of her generation."
    In addition to her extensive film and television credits, Dern has also been prolific in her producing career with multiple upcoming projects for HBO. In 2016, she was selected to serve on The Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences’ Board of Governors.
    Dern will soon be seen as newcomer Vice Admiral Amilyn Holdo in the highly-anticipated “Star Wars: The Last Jedi” releasing on December 15, 2017.
    In 2018, Dern will be seen starring in Justin Kelly’s “JT Leroy”. The film, which is based on a true story, examines the life of a young woman named Savannah Knoop who spends six years pretending to be the celebrated author JT LeRoy, the made-up literary persona of her sister-in-law. Additionally, Dern will star alongside Emmy Rossum and Liam Neeson in “Hard Powder,” which tells the story of a snowplower who seeks revenge against the drug dealers he thinks killed his son. Also upcoming, Dern will star alongside Jack O’Connell in Edward Zwick’s “Trial by Fire”, telling the story of Cameron Todd Willingham, who was executed in Texas for killing his three children after scientific evidence and expert testimony that bolstered his claims of innocence were suppressed. Dern will also soon begin production on the “Untitled Noah Baumbach Project” alongside Scarlett Johansson and Adam Driver.
    In 2017, Dern was seen reuniting with director David Lynch in Showtime’s revival series, “Twin Peaks: The Return”. Also this year, Dern was seen reuniting with director Jean-Marc Vallee (“Wild”) in HBO’s Emmy-winning series “Big Little Lies”. For her role as Renata Klein, she earned a Primetime Emmy Award, as well as a Golden Globe Award nomination and a Critics’ Choice Award nominations. Earlier in 2017, Dern starred opposite Woody Harrelson in Fox Searchlight’s “Wilson”.
    In 2015, Dern co-starred opposite Reese Witherspoon in Fox Searchlight’s “Wild” for which she earned her second Academy Award nomination.
    Dern received a 2013 Primetime Emmy Award nomination and a 2012 Golden Globe Award for her performance in HBO’s critically acclaimed original series “Enlightened”. In addition to starring in the series, Dern also served as the executive producer and co-creator alongside writer and director Mike White. She also earned a Golden Globe Award, a Primetime Emmy Award and SAG Award nominations for her role in HBO’s “Recount”.
    In 1992, Dern received both an Academy Award nomination and a Golden Globe nomination for her performance as Rose in “Rambling Rose”.
    Dern’s other credits include “The Fault In Our Stars” “Inland Empire” “Citizen Ruth” Jurassic Park” “Smooth Talk”, “Mask”, “Blue Velvet” and “Wild At Heart”.
  • Leslie Urdang PRESIDENT OF MAR-KEY PICTURES Leslie Urdang is President of Mar-Key Pictures, Founder and Producing Director of New York Stage and Film Company, and a producer of film, theater and television. Her feature film works include “The Seagull”, to be released by Sony Classics this spring, Mike Mills' Beginners, that earned numerous awards including the 2011 Gotham Award for Best Picture and the Academy Award, Golden Globe, SAG, and BAFTA Awards, Christopher Plummer’s Rabbit Hole, that earned Nicole Kidman a 2011 Academy Award nomination for Best Actress, "A Midsummer Night¹s Dream", "The Oranges", "Thanks for Sharing", "The Family Fang", "Adam", "12 and Holding" and "People I Know".
    As Producing Director of New York Stage and Film, she has been involved in the development of hundreds of new plays and musicals including “Doubt”, “The Humans” and “Hamilton”, and oversees the company’s film and television mentorship program.
  • Sharon Badal VICE PRESIDENT OF FILMMAKER RELATIONS & SHORTS PROGRAMMING - TRIBECA FILM FESTIVAL Sharon Badal is Vice President of Filmmaker Relations and Shorts Programming for Tribeca. She has been with the festival since its inception in 2001 and has produced special projects for Tribeca since 1999. She has produced numerous live events, worked in distribution and marketing for three major studios, and since 1994, has been on the faculty at New York University Tisch School of the Arts Kanbar Institute of Film and Television.
    She is the author of “Swimming Upstream – A Lifesaving Guide to Short Film Distribution,” received her B.F.A. in film and television production and her M.A. in cinema studies and business, both from New York University.
  • Violaine Etienne FOUNDER OF SERIAL PICTURES Violaine Etienne co-founded Serial Pictures in 2008 in partnership with Anonymous Content and has produced television commercials and branded content for clients such as Adidas, Apple, Beats, Calvin Klein, Cadillac, Chase, Cover Girl, Dior, Disney, Estee Lauder, Lexus, L'Oreal, and Mercedes Benz. She has also been the driving force behind some of the most iconic videos and music films for artists such as Beyoncé (most recently Lemonade), Madonna, Taylor Swift, Paul McCartney, Maroon 5, Pharrell Williams and Rihanna to name a few. She has garnered multiple producing awards including a Grammy and Emmy and several Cannes Advertising Gold Lions.


In 2015, Moët & Chandon celebrated its 25th anniversary as the official Champagne of the Golden Globe Awards. To mark the occasion, Moët founded the Moët Moment Film Festival, an annual short film competition that aims to showcase and support the next generation of talented filmmakers.
